Your teeth can reveal a lot about your overall wellness—research has linked poor oral health to conditions like diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stroke and autoimmune disorders. The issue is twofold. If you already have one of these conditions, some signs may show up in your mouth: People with uncontrolled diabetes, for example, are more likely to have gum disease, cavities and oral infections. On the flip side, gum disease can increase your risk of developing health issues in the first place. That’s because the bad bacteria in your mouth (a cause of inflammation) can actually make their way into the rest of the body, causing other areas to become inflamed.

“The cardiovascular connection is known to be especially strong,” says New York City–based periodontist James Jacobs, DMD. For example, one British study showed that people who brush infrequently were 70 percent more likely to suffer from heart disease than those who brush twice a day.

Maybe you’re thinking, I brush. I floss—at least sometimes. Isn’t that enough? Probably not, considering that a whopping 85 percent of American adults suffer from gum disease, according to the U.S. Surgeon General. But it’s not too late to reform your ways. Here, we address your top concerns so you can keep your pearly whites in peak condition. Your good health depends on it.

Is there a right way to brush?

Grip your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gumline, so it’s slightly pointing up, and apply gentle pressure as you use a combo of back-and-forth and up-and-down strokes, says Santa Monica–baseddentist Nushin Shir, DDS. Make sure you brush each tooth all over, as well as the gumline. And don’t rush! A thorough brushing lasts about 2 minutes, so aim to spend about 30 seconds on each quarter of your mouth.

Are electric toothbrushes better than manual ones?

Most dentists think so, even though studies are mixed. If you use them the right way, they prevent you from brushing too hard (which can wear away the enamel, the outer protective layer of the tooth, and make gums bleed) or, more important, not long enough (most have a built-in timer that beeps when 2 minutes are up). They’re also thorough. “Some electric toothbrushes go as fast as 40,000 strokes per second. You just can’t do that manually,” says Jeffrey Golub-Evans, DDS, founder of the New York Center for Cosmetic Dentistry and a past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The downside: Some can cost more than $100, though it’s possible to find them for as low as $30.

For a less expensive option, consider a batteryoperated brush. They may lack some bells and whistles, but whether you choose a brush that uses replaceable batteries or you opt for the disposable variety, they should still work well. Catrise Austin, DDS, author of 5 Steps to the Hollywood A-List Smile, likes the disposable Oral-B Pulsar 3D White Advanced Vivid Toothbrush, which is only $3.49. If you prefer to stick with a manual, that’s fine—just make sure that it’s labeled soft, since harder brushes can wear down the enamel and cause tooth sensitivity. Remember to replace your brush (or change the head) every three months.

How can I get rid of bad breath?

Two words: tongue scraper. Researchers from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil found that using one improved bad breath as much as 75 percent by removing the bacteria and residue that builds up on your tongue.

Other possible halitosis culprits include heartburn or acid reflux (chewing sugar-free gum after a meal can help) and gum disease, which can cause your gums to recede and bacteria to get stuck. If you have persistent bad breath that doesn’t get better when you use a tongue scraper or chew gum, see your dentist or a periodontist. If the problem turns out to be gum disease, you may need a series of deep cleanings (generally done with local anesthesia) to remove bacteria and diseased tissue.

As I’m getting older, it seems as if more food is getting stuck between my teeth. Am I imagining this?

Not at all. The enamel wears down with age, so your teeth get a little smaller and the spaces between them get slightly wider, which means food gets trapped more easily. Eroding enamel can also make your teeth more sensitive. If you have extensive damage to your enamel (you may notice darker, more yellow spots on your teeth), bonding can help, says Emanuel Layliev, DDS, president of the New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. It entails having your dentist apply a toothcolored plastic filling to the front and back of teeth. The cost can add up (about $150 to $300 per tooth), though insurance often covers at least a portion of it when bonding is done to repair damage (as opposed to for purely cosmetic reasons).

Do I really need to go to the dentist twice a year?

Absolutely! Waiting too long between visits means more scraping, because plaque that sits on your teeth for a while hardens and turns into tartar (also called calculus). Going twice a year also gives your dentist a chance to catch a cavity early, when it’s just forming. In that case, you might not even need any filling or drilling; you may simply be sent home with a fluoride treatment to redeposit some of the minerals that have worn away, says Dr. Jacobs. Wait too long, however, and the cavity will progress and can infect a nearby nerve, which means you could end up needing a costly root canal. Frequent visits also mean more opportunity for your dentist to spot signs of an illness that’s affecting your whole body.

I’ve seen laser whitening treatments being offered in spas and malls. Are they safe?

Maybe—but only if a dental professional (such as a dentist or dental hygienist) is administering them. “I once met a banker who was performing these whitenings for extra income!” says Dr. Austin. The problem: An untrained person could end up damaging your teeth, and many people are selling products that haven’t been proven safe or effective. In fact, states including Tennessee and Alabama have recently banned teeth-whitening kiosks that aren’t operated by dentists.

If you do opt for laser whitening (ideally at a dentist’s office), here’s how it works: A highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide formula will be spread over your teeth. You’ll then sit in front of a laser or other activating light designed to help the formula penetrate, and walk out of the office about an hour later with a whiter smile. Dentist-approved treatments including Zoom! and BriteSmile are safe, but some people experience pain and sensitivity during or after the process. Recently, some dentists have started offering a laser-free option called Opalescence. It involves using a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide, but it also has fluoride to help reduce sensitivity. Expect a professional whitening treatment to cost between $250 and $600 and for the effects to last for one to five years, depending on your habits.

At the time of this writing she had been exhibiting her body in public for approximately 8 years. What follows are her suggestions for the budding female exhibitionist. I hope you enjoy the information.

Hi, my name is Lily! This is the first part of a two-part guide for exhibitionists, and anyone interested in the subject. I've been showing myself off for years, and I'm using this as an easy way to share hints and tips, not to mention a few juicy examples, with anyone who can benefit from my experience. This volume includes ideas for basic-level exhibitionism. What the basic means is exhibitionism that's usually tamer than intermediate and advanced levels, but more importantly it always appears unintentional. Basic, intermediate, and advanced refer to the levels of risk in what's being tried, in other words how risky it is.

With basic exhibitionism, clothes become you're most important tool, besides location. This may seem to be the opposite of what it should be, but you don't have to be completely naked to show off.

The first rule of clothes is: no bra. In the most basic forms of exhibitionism you're just showing people your nipples through your shirt. As you move up, you show them the naked nipple, then other parts. Bras are never useful, unless that's what you want to show people.

Showing your nipples through your shirt can be obvious, or an art form. The key is to make the viewer question whether you're doing it on purpose, or whether what they see is a total fluke.

The most obvious way to accomplish this is with a thin, white T-shirt. Thin, white dress shirts, dresses, and such work just as well. There's also mesh and see-through materials. The problem is all of these tend to be glaringly obvious. Tight fitness clothes, of varying colors, and thin material of any color that cling tight and makes the areola just barely visible is excellent. Tube tops are a little out-of-date but work really well.

Wear these clothes to the supermarket, or the mall, somewhere where there's a lot of strangers walking around in close quarters; and wait for the double-takes. It's so much fun.

I was standing in the middle of the freezer section of our local grocery store, pausing over the pizzas, when I noticed a guy staring at my chest over the freezer. I was wearing just a faded white halter top, my nipples were pretty visible already to anyone who dared to look, but in the cold air of the freezer my nipples had stiffened to attention and glancing down I was aware they stood out against the material of my shirt.

I hung out by the pizza another two to three minutes bending and twisting as I examined all the brands before the guy's wife or girlfriend showed up to drag him away. I gave her a wink as she glared at me. She smiled back and shook her head.

If you want to accentuate this form of attention a bit, there's a great little invention called "sweater bumpers." They are small metal rings that fit around your nipple to keep them erect.

For those of us too chicken to pierce their nipples, this is a great way to highlight what you're trying so hard to get them to look at anyway. Nipple rings are, of course, just as effective, and in certain cases you may want to try nipple clips or loops, with a thin length of chain connecting them. And speaking of chain, if you've ever attended an SCA or fantasy-related events you may have seen women clad only in chain mail. It leaves little to the imagination, and often - the tops especially - are created with just enough space between the links to allow anyone who concentrates, all the details of your nipples.

I signed up to work one of those booths once, and let me tell you I got a lot of attention!

The next way to expose yourself using just your clothes is clothing that remains just loose enough, or moves just enough now and then to give the viewer an unobstructed line of sight. This is trickier, but far more rewarding. Watching some guy walking around me, pretending to do something else, just to try and confirm to himself he saw what he did makes me hot every time.

The easiest tool for this is just leaving a loose button-up shirt open to a level slightly below your nipples. Be sure to lean over a lot and turn almost sideways whenever someone comes into range.

A slight variation of this is to use a see-through shirt and an open jacket. The advantage with this is that you can leave the jacket open all the way, increasing the likelihood that you can "accidentally" expose yourself at just the right time. Wearing overalls or a vest with no shirt works the same way.

I couldn't believe it, but there she was sitting at the next table at the small coffee shop we like. I pointed her out to Al and we watched slyly as she turned and moved freely. Her shirt was open nearly to the waist, and we could see without a doubt that she wasn't wearing a bra.

The guy sitting with her probably didn't have as good a view as we did. There was a light breeze, we were out on the patio, and as she sat the wind would expand the material of her shirt on the far side of us, giving us a fantastic view of her pert breast and erect nipple.

We stayed a lot longer than we had time for, and finally had to give up our table to an older couple. I wanted to talk to her, see if she was doing it on purpose, but I knew I couldn't and breathed a heavy sigh as we left.

This is definitely not original, but an adaptation of one which went round
some time ago, about an Indian in USA. But then again, it is good for a

It was the first day of a school in Kulai, Johor and a new Chinese student
named Chong Shan entered Standard four.

The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some Malaysian History. Who said
'Merdeka, Merdeka"

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Chong Shan who had his hand up:
'Tunku Abdul Rahman, 31 August 1957' he said.

'Very good! Who said 'China's authoritarian rule is more effective than the
'democracy' practiced in Malaysia?''

Again, no response except from Chong Shan. 'Tun Dr. Mahathir from Kerala,
2010' he said.

The teacher snapped at the class, 'Boys, you should be ashamed. Chong Shan,
who is a pendatang to our country, knows more about our history than you
do.'

She heard a loud whisper: '@#$% the Chinese.' 'Who said that?' she demanded.

Chong Shan put his hand up. 'Perkasa Chief, Ibrahim Ali.'

Now furious, another student yells, 'Yeah, I am Malay first, Malaysian
second!'

Chong Shan jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the teacher,
'Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin, 2010'.

At that point, a student in the back said, 'Correct, correct, correct!'

The teacher glares around and asks 'All right! Now, who said that?'

Again, Chong Shan says, 'Lawyer VK Lingam, in a telephone conversation
brokering the appointment of top judges with the former Chief Justice.'

Now with almost mob hysteria someone said, 'I am not ashamed to admit that I
cannot compete with the Chinese and Indian students.'

Chong Shan frantically yells at the top of his voice, 'Tun Dr. Mahathir from
Kerala, in Medical College.'

The teacher fainted. And as the class gathered around her on the floor,
someone said, 'Oh shit, we're screwed!'

And Chong Shan, rather sheepish being correct all the time, said softly, 'I
think it was Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 2008'.

Those years when the New Year drew near, all sorts of gathering appointments almost completely filled the diaries, but this year seems so quiet.

即使是平常日子，電話少了，與大家見面也少了。
Even in normal time, phone calls become less and less, face to face meet up also become much less.

也許，大家各忙各的；或者，目前流行“宅生活”，儘量避免出門。
Perhaps, everybody is busy with their own things, or perhaps, nowadays people prefer to stay in.

也不盡然如此。再想一想，很多老友和親戚，已經不在了。嗟！大吉利是，他們都還好好的，只是離開了馬來西亞。
However, it is not entirely like this, thinking further, actually old friends and relatives are not around any more. God bless, they are still alive and well, they just left the country, Malaysia .

'Frog' went to Taiwan to pursue his second career life. Others went to Americia , England , even Indonesia ...

30年前，大家說，馬來西亞還不錯，比得上韓國、台灣（不提香港和日本了）。

20年前，大家說，馬來西亞還可以，至少超越中國、泰國（不能和台、韓比了）。

Samsung recently coming out a lot of superb mobile phone, even their site and widget built with those new mobile phones but not OMNIA2. WTF???

There are software, updates and widgets for Galaxy, Galaxy S, Wave, Monte. What happen to OMNIA2. Are the giving up on windon mobile phone.

Not to say, but window mobile is really sux big time. They can't even compare to Android and Apple's Iphone OS.

Omnia2 get an update from Win Mobile 6.1 to 6.5 once but it doesn't see to get any improvement.

Really give up on Samsung's product and Window Mobile

One day, a professor asked his students
'Why do we SHOUT instead of speak when we are ANGRY?'

All the students thought for a while. One answered 'Because we lost our cool.
That's why we SHOUT.'

Asked the professor again, 'But the person is just right next to you,
why can't we talk softly but have to SHOUT?'

Everyone gave their opinions but none was accepted by the professor.

Lastly explained by the professor 'When we are ANGRY, our hearts drift apart.
To mask the DISTANCE we felt,
we instinctively SHOUT instead of speak so the other party can hear us.'

'But as we SHOUT, we get ANGRIER. And we felt we drift apart further.
So we SHOUT even louder...'

'It is the opposite when we are in love. Not only we do not shout, we whisper into each other ears.
Why?'

'This is because our hearts are very close, almost never apart.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 — Suspended police Commissoner Datuk Ramli Yusoff has been acquitted of three corruption charges by the Sessions Court here.

Judge M Gunalan ruled today that the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case against Ramli, who was the Commercial Crimes Investigations Department (CCID) chief when he was charged and suspended from service in 2007.

He was charged with failing to declare ownership of 20,000 Telekom Malaysia Berhad shares, 154,000 Permaju Industries Berhad shares and interest in two office properties worth RM1,032,840.

Ramli, 56, was alleged to have committed the offences at the office of the then Anti-Corruption Agency’s deputy public prosecutor in Putrajaya on Sept 17, 2007.

The CCID supremo had also been charged separately in the Kota Kinabalu Sessions court for allegedly using police aircraft to view two pieces of property in which his real estate company had an interest.

That case, too, ended in an acquittal for Ramli when, on July 27 of last year, Sessions Court Judge Supang Lian said: “The prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case and the accused deserves to be acquitted and discharged.’’

I'm here to tell you that my granny, along with the grannies of other six million Chinese Malaysians, sailed across the oceans here not to sell their bodies!

With her bound feet, granny came here to support a family. And when the Japanese troops rolled over Malaya, she led the family to safety.

When the situation became more stable later, she negotiated with the Japs to get a licence to do business, and had been able to expand her business when the Brits returned. She treated her Malay and Indian neighbours as her own compatriots, and would prepare a whole stack of angpaos on the first day of every Chinese New Year to distribute to the Malay and Indian kids queuing up in front of our house. She leased out a small plot of land for a Chinese primary school, but had not in decades asked for the return of the land.

Every year on 31 August, she would try to find a national flag and hang it up high on a very long pole in front of our house. She landed on Malaya, and treated this place her own country. She had not had another home or country since.

When she passed away, many Malaymakcik came to our house and sobbed over her passing.

With her unparalleled wisdom, hard work, morality and determination, she spent her entire life in a very respectful manner. No one can ever insult her and accuse that she had come here to sell her body!

My granny, like the grannies of many other people, was a truly great woman.

From Malaya to Malaysia, they were scattered in every family and every corner of this country.

From the rubber-tapping workers in the estates, to the excavators in the tin mines, they were the most hardworking and exceptional women anywhere in the world. During those darkest years, they displayed the most glorious side of humanity. They sacrificed their youths and lives, so that you and I, along with our homes and nation, can come into being.

Even though they might no longer be around today, they still live deep inside our hearts, and support us morally.

Not only the country's laws will come after you, Nasir, you still owe our grannies a sincere apology.

While the iPhone is only available on one carrier, that hasn’t stopped it from becoming the industry’s top selling smartphone. A stunning nine million units sold in the last three months of 2009 alone, bringing its total to well over 40 million.

Con: Network woes

That one carrier, unfortunately, is AT&T, which users have been complaining about for some time now. Service in big cities like New York and San Francisco is spotty at best, making some people wonder if the phone’s cool features are worth the frustrations.

AT&T’s exclusivity window is expected to end this year, though. And many analysts have predicted Apple will expand the iPhone’s reach to another carrier as well -- perhaps Verizon, the nation’s largest cellular provider -- which would give the iPhone another big sales boost, drawing in even more game developers.

Pro: Big games and big game makers

The iPhone has already stolen some big names (such as EA’s Neil Young and Blizzard’s Keith Lee) away from the traditional gaming industry and it’s tempting several others, including legendary id Software heavyweight John Carmack.

In addition to creating several new franchises, like Flight Control and MyTown (which never would have found an audience with traditional gaming systems), the iPhone also has ports of several major console games, like Call of Duty and Rock Band. The current top-grossing app GTA: Chinatown Wars from console game maker Rockstar. This phone has serious momentum.

Google Android

Pro: Wider availability

Android devices are spread out among several networks, and some of them are finding an audience. While the Nexus One phone from Google has been a flop so far (selling less than 21,000 units in its first week), the Motorola Droid has sold much better. (The company and Verizon, which carries the model, won’t reveal exact figures.) There are also several non-phone devices that use Android, such as the Archos tablet, some smaller netbooks and upcoming eReaders. And all of those can run Android games.

"Unlike the iPhone, there are lots of telecom manufacturers who can use the Android system,"says Colin Sebastian of Lazard Capital Markets. "I think, in terms of numbers, you should expect a pretty big increase in penetration."

Con: No must-have games

While there are plenty of games out there for the Android, none has managed to break away from the pack. Bonsai Blast and Parallel Kingdom might be fun, but they're not generating much excitement. Without a real smash game or two, Android will be stuck playing second fiddle to the iPhone.

Con: Buzz is slow to build

The commercials for Droid raised a few eyebrows in the general public, but their lasting impact is questionable. Do a random sample of smartphone shoppers and the number of people familiar with the Android OS will be fairly small, particularly compared to those who know all about the iPhone.

Ultimately, though, Android-based phones are expected to be viable competitors to the iPhone -- and as the sales numbers grow, look for iPhone game developers to begin porting titles over and creating original ones for the platform.

That shift could happen sooner than you think. Developers learned one important lesson with the iPhone: Establishing an early foothold can be quite beneficial to the bottom line.

Indonesia is one of the world's richest countries in terms of natural resources.

God has blessed Indonesia with gold, uranium, copper, oil, timber, beaches, seas and other wealth. The land is fertile with abundant rain. Stick a twig into the ground and it grows into a tree.

Yet Indonesians sleep in the streets..

Food is expensive.. The average Indonesian eats some rice, tempe, tauhu and may be some vegetables for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday.

An average Nasi Padang meal for four persons in a single star Indonesian restaurant can cost RM60(160,000 Rupiah). This is way beyond the income of the average Joko or Ketut in Indonesia.

Why is this so ? The answer is because the ruling elites in Indonesia do not care about the people. They have pillaged the country. They craft policies that only serve to keep the elites in power and the wealthly. The same thing is happening in M'sia.

There are also millions of Indonesians who go to school and university but do not learn skills that can help them survive in the real world. They are very poor in European languages like English or Dutch. All their education is in Indonesian. So they cannot keep up with the latest developments and technologies. They cannot compete. They remain poor.

The children of the elite are sent overseas for their education.

An average Indonesian university graduate cannot bring world class skills to his employers. He or she therefore earns a pittance. This is happening in Malaysia. Bumiputra university graduates only strike it rich if they get Government jobs where they do not do much work but earn a good salary with a pension. In the private sector they may not get a job or earn only a pittance.

That is why 100,000 graduates remain unemployed in Malaysia.

Bumiputra university graduates are turning up for interviews as taxi drivers and shop assistants.. What about those who flunk out after SPM ? They become Mat Rempits (Motorcycle Racers). Last Saturday I saw another Mat Rempit get killed at the road races in Shah Alam (near Section 7).

In Malaysia, just like in Indonesia, food is getting very expensive. But the wages and salaries of the people, especially the Malays, is not keeping up with the increase in prices.

Instead of developing the competitive ability of the people,the Government has been using the failed NEP to provide subsidies and dish out money on a plate.

Everything is subsidised, even cooking oil, flour, rice, sugar, fuel, etc.

The Government has been providing these subsidies so that the people will keep voting for the ruling party.

So it has never been to the Government's advantage to make the Malays independent. A Malay who is independent of the Government may not vote for the BN. It is therefore better to keep feeding with subsidies.. So, for the past 50 years, everything has been subsidised.

But now with 27million people in the country of which more than half are Malays, subsidies are getting more expensive.

There is also much much more thievery and wastage by the BN elites in Malaysia. But there is no bottomless 'well' full of money.

Everything has its limits. The money will soon run out. Without the subsidies for cooking oil, sugar, flour and petrol, how are the people, especially the Malays, going to survive ? Already university graduates cannot find jobs or compete in the private sector. What happens when the oil money runs out ? What happens when (not if, but when) the Government cannot simply spend billions of oil money to sustain its voting base any longer? That is when we may see people sleeping in the streets, just like in Indonesia. If that happens this country will go up in flames. We will all be consumed.

In Indonesia, the Government has not mobilised its hundreds of millions of people (over 250 million Indonesians) with the competitive skills to grow enough food for themselves. Hence food is expensive. They do not even have simple survival skills like coming to work on time, organising themselves to do simple tasks, maintaining good hygiene and cleanliness and so on. They are poorly read and not informed about many things that are going on around the world. Their Government has failed in all these aspects. Hence the average Indonesian remains poor.

The same thing has happened in Malaysia. Our young people, especially the Malays, do not possess basic survival skills. We are not talking about competitive skills but just basic survival skills. The Government is not serious about giving them useful competitive skills either.

The Mat Rempits are being glorified by the politicians as saviours of the nation (Mat Cemerlang). Correction. they are drug users, gang rapists, snatch thieves and street fighters.

When an efficient Policewoman called Nooriyah Anvar was appointed Chief of Traffic Police she went after the Mat Rempits with a vengeance. Does anyone remember her? She confiscated their bikes on the spot. But soon the Mat Rempits called their political muscle and Nooriyah Anvar was kicked out. To date she holds the record of being the shortest serving Traffic Police Chief in Malaysia. She has been replaced by Senior Asst Comm (II) Datuk Hamza Taib.

So the Government is not serious about improving the position of the Malays.
It serves the Barisan Nasional Government to keep the Malays down and out. Then the Malays can go to the Government for crumbs. This way the ruling elites get to keep the whole loaf to themselves. Go and visit Indonesia. This is what is happening over there. It is happening over here too.

Does Malaysia have a problem ? Yes the Malays are not happy, the Chinese are not happy and the Indians are not happy.

They spoke out at the March 2008 polls and hope things will change for the better, now they have some oppositions who promised change. The Malays are being duped by their corrupted leaders by using the religion, the Chinese and Indians are being marginalised by the ruling elites..

Let us all Malaysians wake up and fight the corrupt system for the benefit of everyone.. Let us all unite and stand together and change the system for once and for all.

We are not Malays, Chinese or Indians, we are Malaysians. Malaysians May End Up Sleeping in the Street if no change is made to the present corrupt and very selfish system.

New research suggests even taking a shower can be risky. Scientists discovered nearly one in three showers harbour dangerously high levels of a bug known to cause lung infections.

The tiny bugs - which feed on human blood - often get into the home after being picked up on buses or trains.

Bed

DON'T let the bed bugs bite - but mattresses can contain hundreds of them and well over 10,000 dust mites.

They feed on your blood and dead skin as you sleep. And 20 per cent of the weight of old pillows may be dead skin.

That means even more dust mites, which are a known trigger for asthma and allergies.

BEAT THE BUGS: If you have an infestation get an exterminator in... or shell out for a new mattress. With your pillows, bin ones that are more than a year old or put them in the freezer for 24 hours to kill bugs.

Kitchen surface

THE kitchen is the household hotspot when it comes to food poisoning. Cross contamination - where bugs from uncooked meat end up on raw fruit or veg - is one of the biggest problems.

Raw chicken, for example, can carry a nasty bug called campylobacter that causes sickness and diarrhoea.

BEAT THE BUGS: Use separate chopping boards for meat and veg rather than those with antibacterial coating. They can take several hours to kill bugs.

CARPETS have been blamed for a surge in UK asthma cases in the past 40 years.

They are the perfect breeding ground for dust mites - bugs so small they are barely visible but whose droppings are thought to irritate the lining of the airways.

BEAT THE BUGS: Fit a wooden floor. Experts claim doing so can slash the amount of allergens circulating in the air. If you must have carpet, opt for a short pile so it is harder for mites to hide.

BACTERIA and viruses can lurk on some surfaces for hours. Door handles are one of the most dangerous sites because they come into contact with skin all the time.

One US study showed 26 per cent of door knobs at home and work carry traces of harmful bacteria.

A WHICH? magazine study of 33 computer keyboards showed one was five times dirtier than a toilet seat.

BEAT THE BUGS: Don't eat at the computer, food can spread bugs. And always wash your hands before sitting down to work or play at the screen.

If cloths are not decontaminated and dried after use, or are left damp for several hours, bacteria grows on the surface.

Towels

TOWELS and flannels can be a dangerous source of infection because they are often just moist enough to support the growth of populations of bacteria.

Harmful bugs survive for long periods of time on damp towels. Sharing them simply spreads the infection.

BEAT THE BUGS: Always use clean towels and flannels, especially if a family member has a tummy bug.

Today is Lunar 7th month of 14th day, which are chinese Ghost Day (中元节). During these Lunar 7th month - Ghost Month (鬼月), it is said that those ghosts are released out to visit their relative or roam around the human world and of course with the certain rules, so that they cannot simply harm the living.

This festival is celebarated by alot countries escpecially in Asia or rather said, any place with chinese. On the fifteenth day the three realms of Heaven, Hell and the realm of the living are open and both Taoists and Buddhists would perform rituals to transmute and absolve the sufferings of the deceased. Intrinsic to the Ghost Month is ancestor worship, where traditionally the filial piety of descendants extends to their ancestors even after their deaths. Activities during the month would include preparing ritualistic food offerings, burning incense, and burning joss paper, a papier-mache form of material items such as clothes, gold and other fine goods for the visiting spirits of the ancestors. Elaborate meals would be served with empty seats for each of the deceased in the family treating the deceased as if they are still living. Ancestor worship is what distinguishes Qingming Festival from Ghost Festival because the latter includes paying respects to all deceased, including the same and younger generations, while the former only includes older generations. Other festivities may include, buying and releasing miniature paper boats and lanterns on water, which signifies giving directions to the lost ghosts and spirits of the ancestors and other deities.

Today lunch was a luxury one. We had a farewell luncheon in KLCC, Sawadikap Imperial Chakri Palace. Quite a high class restaurant.

Conclusion :- It is a nice place to having your meal. But not in big gangs. Couple or small group of friends retreat are the best. Damage is heavy but food is delicious and good services.

Transformers Return

2009 great movies are non stop coming especially Transformers. But somehow, I don't feel any great impact from the movie.

After sometime from the movie, I read an article from Matt McDaniel, I thought everyone should know :-

1. In "Transformers," there was this giant battle in the middle of downtown Los Angeles -- excuse me, Mission City -- that was witnessed by thousands of people at the very least. But somehow the government was able to cover up the whole thing, and now the existence of alien robots is just an internet rumor? How did they do it? Pay off everyone who was there and quickly fix millions of dollars in damage? Also, didn't Keller (Jon Voight) go on TV and tell everyone we were being attacked by "a technological civilization far superior to our own"? How did they spin that?

2. There are two pieces of the Allspark cube left: the military has one under lock and key, and Sam discovers another. The Decepticons steal one and bring Megatron back to life. But when Sam (Shia LaBeouf) wants to bring back Optimus, he has to find the Matrix of Leadership on the other side of the globe. Why not use the other piece? Mikaela (Megan Fox) has it in her backpack the whole time. It brought his kitchen appliances to life, why can't it do the same for Optimus?

3. Speaking of Megatron's rebirth, when the Decepticons venture deep into the ocean to revive him, the Navy crew tracking them reads five contacts. When they get down there, they tear apart one of the robots for parts to rebuild Megatron. Then as they rise to the surface, the same Navy guys say they spot six contacts. The little "Doctor" robot popped out down there, but he's about a third of the size of a person. Would he have shown up on sonar?

4. That reminds me: even if I were to forgive the Doctor's German accent -- and director Michael Bay is asking me to forgive a lot of ridiculous accents -- why would a robot need glasses? He has little lenses that flip in front of his mechanical eyes. Couldn't he just get his eyes adjusted? You'd think with all the laser guns, someone could perform a Lasik procedure.

5. Apparently, Transformers can look like people now. How? And how is it that even though the robo-girl (Isabel Lucas) is made of metal, she can still straddle Sam without crushing him. And if Bumblebee knows something's wrong with her, why does he spit antifreeze at her instead of telling Sam? Yes, his voicebox is broken, but wasn't it fixed at the end of the last movie?

6. The Fallen is the last of the Primes, since they all sacrificed themselves to stop him from destroying the sun. But then he says that Optimus is a descendant of the Primes. First, Transformers have kids? And second, how could he descend from them if they were all dead? And if the Fallen could only be destroyed by a Prime, why didn't the originals just gang up on him back in the day? And what makes Optimus so special, anyway? Megatron beat him earlier, but all it takes is a few spare parts from creaky old Jetfire for him to take out the Fallen?

7. Sam, Mikaela, and Simmons (John Turturro) go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. to find Jetfire. Then they walk out the back onto a wide open field with old planes and mountains in the distance. When did the National Mall start to look so much like to Tucson, AZ (where they really filmed that scene)?

10. Where does Sam's bandage come from? What about his extra sock? Why does Sam's roommate not contribute anything at all? What was the Fallen doing for those thousands of years Megatron was frozen in ice? How does one satellite receive transmissions from everywhere on the planet? Why does Wheelie hump Mikaela's leg? Why do we have to see John Turturro's thong? Why are robots who join together to become Devastator also seen fighting the Army at the same time? Why does the government want only our military fighting Decepticons when our weapons seem unable to make so much as a dent on any of them? Why did the ancient Egyptians build a pyramid around the sun-destroying machines instead of just breaking it? Why is the Matrix of Leadership bigger in the Fallen's hand than in Sam's? And how do Mikaela's pants stay so clean?
